Muscat, Nov 5 (ONA) --- The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) and the Omani Military Music band present annually in November a wide range of military performances, as part of the Sultanate's celebrations of its glorious National Day.
The performances will be held under the patronage of Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, with the participation of the music bands of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Royal Army of Oman, the Royal Air Force of Oman, the Royal Navy of Oman, Royal Oman Police, the Royal Cavalry and the Royal Camel Unit, in addition to the Scout Music Band and the Infantry Team from the Royal Army of Oman.
The performances of these bands will provide an ideal opportunity for the public to see the high accuracy of military parades, and to hear the music of bagpipes, drums and wind instruments.
In a gesture of friendship that reflects the Sultanate's openness to the world, musicians and performers from Mexico are participating this year to enrich the concert by offering military and folkloric performances for their country that is famous for their beautiful costumes.
ROHM will present this wonderful production for the current season on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, with performances starting at 7pm.
