Muscat, Dec 10 (ONA) ----- The promotional campaign “Invest in Oman” will kick off in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi (KSA), Riyadh “” next Sunday.
The 4-day campaign is organized by the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Ithraa) with the aim of offering investment opportunities in the targeted sectors in the Omani market to the Saudi side and the promotion of economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The Sultanate’s delegation will be headed by Yahya Bin Said Al Jabri, Ithraa Board Chairman.
Azzan bin Qasim Al Busaidi, CEO of (Ithraa), explained that the campaign, which will be held in Riyadh and Jeddah, will include bilateral meetings between the Omani and Saudi sides in the presence of a number of institutions in the public and private sectors, business leaders and investors from both sides with the aim of attracting foreign investments to the Sultanate and promoting trade exchange between companies.
The campaign will present a number of investment opportunities in various sectors, the potentials and incentives offered by the Sultanate. The campaign will also discuss means to enhance trade exchange between the Sultanate and the KSA.
The campaign program will also include visiting a number of leading companies in various sectors in the KSA.
It is noteworthy that the volume of the Sultanate's exports to the KSA amounted to about 1.5 billion US dollars in 2018, registering an increase of 25.6 percent, compared to 2017, and its imports from the KSA in the same year amounted to 826 million US dollars.
