The Royal Horse Racing Club Organizes 10th Race in Al Rahba Horserace Course

Barka, Jan.09 (ONA) ---- The Royal Horse Racing Club organized today the 10th race in Al Rahba Horserace Course in the current horse racing season.  It included 8 rounds, 6 of which were allocated for purebred Arabian horses and two races for purebred hybrid horses.

   The title of the first round, dedicated to purebred Arabian horses local production for a distance of / 1200 / meters went to the mare Abrar, owned by Yasser bin Mohammed al-Kalbani, ridden by Macon de Souza.

   The title of the second round assigned to purebred Arabian horses for a distance of / 1200 / meters went to the horse / Amja'ad / owned by the Royal Oman Police, ridden by Moanes bin Salim al-Siyabi.

   In the third round dedicated to purebred Arabian horses for a distance of / 1600 / meters, the horse / Hakim HS /, owned by Saud bin Abdullah al-Balushi, ridden by Shaker bin Ali al-Balushi, won first place.

   The fourth round, dedicated to purebred hybrid horses for a distance of / 1600 / meters, the horse / Glamorous Kingdom / won first place.  It is owned by Mohammed bin Salah al-Ma'awali and ridden by Al Mutasim bin Said al-Balushi.

   The title of the fifth round dedicated for the Arabian purebred horses for a distance of / 2000 / meters, went to the horse / BF Al Basil /, owned by Daoud bin Sulaiman al-Mahrzi and ridden by Macon de Souza.

   The horse / Zaman /, owned by the Royal Cavalry and ridden by Moanes bin Salim al-Siyabi, won the first place in the sixth round devoted to pure Arabian horses for a distance of / 2000 / meters.

   The title of the seventh round devoted to the purebred hybrid horses, classified from 70 to 90 for a distance of / 2000 meters / went to the horse Barood, owned by Khalid bin Mohammed bin Khosro Zaman and ridden by Macon de Souza.

    In the eighth round devoted to purebred Arabian horses for a distance of / 2000 / meters, the horse / Mu"jiz / won the first place.  The horse is owned by the stables of the Bashair and ridden by Moanes bin Salim al-Siyabi.

   At the conclusion of the race Mubarak bin Harith al- Mahrouqi, Director General of Legal Affairs and Studies at the Royal Court Affairs, the sponsor of the ceremony, crowned the winners of the first positions in the eight rounds.  He was accompanied by Dr. Sarhan bin Salim al- Zaidi, Director General of the Royal Cavalry.
