Muscat, 8 Dec, (ONA) -- As many as 266.56 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 5,566,055 have died, Reuters reported.

Infections have been registered in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in December 2019.
