Typhoon Bualoi Death Toll Rises to 19 in Vietnam
Hanoi, 30 Sep (ONA) --- The number of victims of Typhoon Bualoi and the accompanying floods that hit Vietnam has risen to 19 deaths and 88 injuries.
According to the Vietnam News Agency, 13 people remain missing, while eight others out of contact.
It confirmed the destruction of more than 105,000 houses, while thousands of homes were flooded, and the livelihoods of nearly 3,000 families were cut off.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued urgent instructions to the authorities and relevant sectors to accelerate rescue and recovery efforts.
Flash floods and landslides are expected to continue over the next two to three days, according to the Vietnam National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting.
