5.3-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Mexico's Oaxaca State

Mexico City, 4 Dec 2025 (ONA) --- An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico today.

The earthquake occurred 23 km from the city of Salina Cruz, at a depth of 62.2 km, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
