15 Dead After Boat Collides with Coast Guard Vessel Off Greece

Athens, 4 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- Greek authorities announced today that 15 people died after a collision between a coastguard vessel and a boat carrying migrants off the coast of the Greek island of Chios.

The Hellenic Coast Guard said that 25 migrants were rescued, but one woman later died. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. --- Ends/AH
