HM The Sultan Receives Thanks Cable from President of Iraq

Muscat, 9 Nov (ONA) --- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid of the Republic of Iraq in reply to His Majesty’s congratulatory cable on being elected as his country’s President.

In the cable President Abdul Latif expressed his sincere appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan’s heartfelt sentiments. He affirmed his keenness to bolster the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. President Abdul Latif also wished His Majesty good health and wellbeing and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
