HM The Sultan Pardons Prisoners

Muscat, 17 Nov (ONA) —- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases.

They included 175 prisoners,65 of them are foreigners, according to an official source at the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

The Royal pardon of His Majesty the Supreme Commander coincides with the 52nd National Day and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
