HM The Sultan Pardons Prisoners

Muscat, 20 Apr (ONA) —- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases.

They included 198 prisoners, 89 of them are foreigners, according to an official source at the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

The Royal pardon coincides with Eid Al Fitr 1444 AH and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
