HH Honourable Lady, Spouse of The Sultan of Oman Extends Greetings on Mother’s Day

Muscat, 21 Mar (ONA) --- Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamad Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, has expressed greetings on the occasion of Mother’s Day to mothers in the Sultanate of Oman and the world. The message reads as follows:

“We are delighted to greet mothers in our beloved homeland Oman and mothers in all parts of the world on the occasion of Mother’s Day, which falls on the 21st of March every year. We wish all mothers prosperity, success, dignity, a safe and secure life marked with power to contribute effectively to all development programmes.

The celebration of this auspicious day enhances sentiments of gratitude and reverence. It deepens the feelings of love and pride and it sheds light on the great roles of the mother, as well as the high status accorded to the mother by Allah the Almighty and our noble Prophet.

On this occasion, as we live these blessed days of the holy month of Ramadan—the month of uprightness, mercy and benevolence—we pray to Allah the Almighty to protect mothers in all parts of the Globe, notably our people in the occupied land of Palestine. We pray to Allah the Almighty to bless them with peace, security and liberation.
