HM The Sultan Condoles President of Iraq

Muscat, 17 Jul (ONA) --- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences to President Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid of the Republic of Iraq on the fire which broke out in a hypermarket at Al Kut city, Wasit Governorate, in eastern Iraq.

In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere sympathies to President Dr. Abdul Latif, families of the victims and the Iraqi people on this tragic incident, praying to Allah the Almighty for a speedy recovery for the injured and to spare their country from further unfortunate disasters.
