Sohar, Mar 5 (ONA) ---- Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Nasr bin Hamoud Al-Kindi, Secretary-General of the Royal Court Affairs (RCA), today patronized at Sohar race course in the Governorate of North Al Batina over the conclusion of the annual camel race.
 
    The race was organized by the Oman Camel Racing Federation.
 
Four rounds were held in the closing day. Their results come as follows: The first round allocated for "Al-Thanaya" camels. Al-Shaheenia, owned by the Royal Camel Corps, trained by Sultan bin Hamoud Al-Jahafi, won the first place.
 
      The second round, allocated for "Al-Thanaya", Mayasa, owned by Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Wahibi came first.
 
        The third round, allocated to “Al Houl”, Mansoura, owned by the Royal Camel Corps and trained by Rashid bin Salem Al Ghailani came first.
 
      The fourth round, allocated to “Al-Houl”, Barzman, owned by Hamad bin Mohammad Al-Wahibi came first.
 
    At the end of the race, the chief guest handed over the prizes to the winners of the first places, in addition to honoring the governmental and private institutions supporting the race.
