2nd Annual Conference of Business & Management Development Kicks off

Muscat, 26 Feb (ONA) ---- Activities of the 2nd Annual Conference of Business & Management Development began in Muscat today.

The two-day event, themed “Re-engineering Administrative Operations: Achieving Efficiency Through Redesigning Operations", is organized by the Ministry of Labour in cooperation with Al-Assayel for Development.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of HH Sayyid Mohammed bin Thuwaini Al Said, in the presence of a number of officials from government and private agencies, in addition to the participation of the American influencer Speaker, and Author Prof. Dave Ulrich.

The conference targets a number of officials in the government and private sectors, analysts, consultants, project managers in ministries and government and private establishments, employees of human resources, finance, customer services and information technology departments, in addition to entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises, academic researchers and practitioners in the fields of public administration.

The conference aims to boost the efficiency of administrative processes and procedures by reviewing effective strategies and modern technologies in improving the efficiency of operations, in addition to introducing participants to the concepts of flexible and agile management and the importance of applying them in institutions. It also highlights the most prominent tools, technologies and best practices in the field of improving procedures and raising performance efficiency.

The second edition of the conference addresses the concept of re-engineering administrative operations as a tool to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in institutions, in a manner that copes with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
