National Defence College Winds Up Youth Empowerment Symposium
Muscat, 12 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- The National Defence College today held a ceremony to mark the conclusion of its symposium titled "Youth and National Decision-Making: From Empowerment to Impact."
The ceremony was held under the auspices of retired Air Vice Marshal Talib Miran Al Raisi, in the presence of Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies.
The symposium reviewed initiatives and recommendations of participants in the 13th course of the National Defence College. It saw the participation of a consultants and stakeholders from the public and private sectors.
The symposium, which began on 19 February 2025, covered analyses, discussions and dialogue about different skills needed for the empowerment of youth.
The ceremony was attended by senior officers, board members of the National Defence College and participants in the 13th course of the College.
