Workshop Held to Empower Entrepreneurs at Salalah Free Zone

Salalah, 20 May (ONA) — The Salalah Free Zone, in cooperation with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department in Dhofar Governorate and the Social Protection Fund, today organized a workshop titled "Services Benefit You." This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support and empower entrepreneurs while enhancing the investment environment in the governorate.

The workshop reviewed a range of services provided by relevant entrepreneurial entities, including investment opportunities available in the Salalah Free Zone, services offered to investors and entrepreneurs, as well as entrepreneurial and financing programs provided by the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development. Additionally, social protection services and systems were highlighted.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about key services, programs, and investment opportunities available to them, contributing to the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It also sought to enable business owners to benefit from these opportunities while broadening participants' understanding of available government services and avenues for collaboration with various entities.

This workshop is part of a series of initiatives designed to support the entrepreneurship sector in the Sultanate of Oman by raising awareness of available services and facilitating access to resources for small and medium enterprise owners. These efforts aim to ensure the sustainability and growth of their businesses.
