Sarb Rakhyout Forum Kicks Off in Dhofar Governorate
Salalah, 5 Nov (ONA) --- A four-day event codenamed “Sarb Rakhyout Forum” kicked off today in the Wilayat of Rakhyout, Governorate of Dhofar.
The forum, which will run until 8 November 2025, is organized by the Office of the Wali of Rakhyout in cooperation with Dhofar Municipality and the Department for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs).
The forum’s programme includes working papers and dialogue sessions for entrepreneurs, in addition to entertainment events, heritage and cultural activities and sports competitions.
The working papers cover a variety of topics, including Oman Vision 2040, digital transition, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and ways to combat trading in drugs and psychotropic substances.
As part of the forum, stakeholders will take part in a training workshop on e-marketing and entrepreneurship.
The forum also features sporting events, practice on an astronomical observatory, an exhibition to showcase the products of entrepreneurs, household businesses and services offered by public and private establishments in the Wilayat of Rakhyout.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sheikh Mohammed bin Saif Al Busaidi, Wali of Salalah.
