A’Shasr-Baithnah-Al Hashman Road Project’s Implementation Begins in Thumrait

Salalah, 7 Dec 2025 (ONA) --- The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology began the construction of A’Shasr-Baithnah-Al Hashman Road project in the Wilayat of Thumrait in the Governorate of Dhofar. The construction of the 86-km road will cost about RO 9.5 million.

The implementaton of the project reflects the Ministry’s efforts to expand the road network, develop aspects of tourism, economic and social activity in the wilayats of Dhofar Governorate and support transport services in Al Najd agricultural area.

The project forms part of the Ministry’s plan to establish a safe and efficient road network that meets the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
