A'Dakhiliyah Governorate Braces for Al Jabal Al Akhdar Summer Fete From July

Nizwa, 9 Jun (ONA) --- Al Dakhiliyah Governorate is taking steps to launch a two-month festival titled “Al Jabal Al Akhdar Summer” that will be held from 18 July to 14 September 2024.

A meeting to this effect was held in Nizwa today under the chairmanship of Sheikh Hilal Said Al Hajri, Governor of A’Dakhiliyah. The meeting discussed key activities and formed a committee to supervise preparations ahead of the launch of the summer extravaganza.

The event includes cultural, social, sports, entertainment, heritage and popular activities. The overall objective is to promote tourism and highlight heritage and natural resources of the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar.

On the sidelines of the event, an exhibition will showcase products made by self-employed families and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
