Dialogue Seminar Discusses Support for Entrepreneurs in Manah

Manah, 27 Apr (ONA) —— A seminar titled "Empowerment: Excellence in Entrepreneurship" held today in the Wilayat of Manah, the Governorate of A’Dhakiliyah, emphasized the need to raise awareness on wage protection, promote legal understanding of work contracts, and expand support and training programs for entrepreneurs.

The event reviewed several working papers on the role of public and private institutions in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs across various sectors. It also highlighted the services provided by the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development in A’Dhakiliyah Governorate, including business centers, craft support, financing programs, and startup accelerators.

The Directorate General of Labour in the governorate addressed the Wage Protection System, its objectives, and the establishment of an accurate database for private sector workers' wages, along with monitoring procedures.

Additionally, the Development Bank outlined its role in empowering and motivating entrepreneurs by financing micro, small, and medium enterprises as well as value-added companies that contribute to national development and generate self-employment opportunities.
