Works in Izki-Nizwa Dual Carriageway Road Project Begin

Izki, 6 Jul (ONA) — The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology has commenced the implementation of Izki-Nizwa Dual Carriageway road project, spanning 32.2 kilometers.

The project starts at the southern Qarut roundabout in the Wilayat of Izki, passes through the Niyabat of Barka Al Mouz, and ends in the Farq area of the Wilayat of Nizwa, with a total cost of approximately RO 47 million. The project includes several roundabouts, traffic signals, a vehicle underpass to enhance traffic flow, and the conversion of all surface crossings into box culverts to ensure uninterrupted traffic during wadi flooding.
