Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers Welcomes 59th Batch
Manah, 3 Nov (ONA) — The Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers in the Wilayat of Manah today welcomed students of its 59th batch, who have arrived from countries including Turkiye, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, India, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, France, Germany, Belarus, Russia, Tanzania, and Australia. The course will last for seven weeks.
The institute organized an orientation day that included a presentation on the institute's regulations and its academic and administrative systems, along with an overview of the study program and accompanying cultural activities. The students also took a tour of the institute's facilities, including classrooms and the library, to familiarize themselves with the learning environment and the services provided by the institute.
This session is part of the ongoing efforts by the Sultan Qaboos Institute in line with its mission to spread the Arabic language and enhance its global presence, building bridges of cultural and civilizational communication between the Sultanate of Oman and countries around the world. This is achieved by providing integrated educational programs that combine language learning with an introduction to Omani culture and society.
