Cultural Platforms Programme Launched in Samail
Samail, 11 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- The activities of the "Cultural Platforms in the Wilayats" programme commenced today in the Wilayat of Samail, A’Dakhiliyah Governorate.
Organized by the Cultural Club, the two-day event features a range of cultural, artistic, and literary activities aimed at revitalizing the cultural scene and strengthening the presence of creativity across the wilayats of the Sultanate of Oman, as part of broader efforts to expand the scope of cultural work.

An art exhibition titled "Baha’a" was inaugurated at the Omani Women’s Association, featuring works by artists from the Wilayat of Samail. The exhibition showcases artistic expressions inspired by the local environment and Omani heritage, highlighting the diversity of styles and artistic schools among the participants.
The "Cultural Platforms in the Wilayats" programme is part of the Cultural Club’s strategy to strengthen local partnerships, invest in cultural spaces across the governorates, and offer platforms for creatives from all wilayats of the Sultanate of Oman to present their work and exchange expertise—contributing to the consolidation of culture as a key pillar of sustainable development.
