North A’Sharqiyah Governorate Showcases Development Projects

Ibra, 16 Jul (ONA) — The Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah reviewed its ongoing and future development projects during a meeting held today in the Wilayat of Ibra.

The meeting highlighted developmental, urban, and service projects in the governorate, with a total value exceeding RO 100 million, along with a range of tourism, real estate, and heritage initiatives.

Attendees were briefed on projects in the Al Mudhaibi Industrial City, where investments have surpassed RO 11 million, as well as Souq Al Mawared project in the Wilayat of Sinaw, implemented at an estimated cost of RO 10 million.

Additionally, the meeting covered the second phase of the water distribution network project in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, currently underway with a budget of over RO 15 million. The Ministry of Economy and the Projects, Tenders and Local Content Authority also delivered presentations outlining the ministry’s efforts in monitoring various projects across Oman’s governorates and the authority’s role in approving tenders, projects, and advancing local content.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Eng. Badr Salim Al Maamari, Chairman of the Projects, Tenders and Local Content Authority, Mahmoud Yahya Al Dhuhli, Governor of North A’Sharqiyah and a some officials.
