Restoration of Historic, Archaeological Sites in North A’Sharqiyah Completed

Ibra, 16 Nov 2025 (ONA) — The Department of Heritage and Tourism in the North A’Sharqiyah Governorate has completed restoration work on several historic and archaeological sites and landmarks in various wilayats of the governorate at a cost of more than RO 100,000.

This comes as part of the ongoing restoration efforts across various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, aimed at enhancing cultural and historical identity, stimulating the local economy by supporting tourism and small to medium enterprises, and providing opportunities for community learning and entertainment.
