Sinaw Health Forum Discusses Several Health Topics

Sinaw, 11 Dec 2025 (ONA) --- The Health Committee in the Wilayat of Sinaw, North A’Sharqiyah Governorate, organized the Sinaw Health Forum today under the slogan "Your Mind and Body are a Trust".

The forum was held under the auspices of Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, as part of the health efforts undertaken by the committee to address health issues and shed light on challenges and solutions.

The forum's activities included the presentation of working papers on: Obesity and Diabetes; Strokes; Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.

This reflects the Ministry of Health's interest in enhancing health awareness and integrating efforts in confronting health and behavioral challenges.

In addition, the accompanying exhibition was opened, featuring corners on prevention of drugs and psychotropic substances, pre-marital Screening, hereditary blood diseases, patient experience, disease vector control, and healthy lifestyles.

The Sinaw Health Forum is aligned with the directions of the Ministry of Health aimed at enhancing prevention programs, health empowerment of the community, raising the efficiency of health awareness, and developing health services in line with scientific developments and changing societal needs. The forum also embodies alignment with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, which made health, well-being, and quality of life one of its main axes, focusing on building a community with high degrees of health awareness, developing a health system capable of responding to challenges, and strengthening partnerships among various sectors to achieve sustainable development.
