Al Wusta Governorate Signs 15 Development Project Agreements Valued at RO 4.3 Million
Haima, 23 Jul (ONA) --- The Al Wusta Governorate has signed 15 agreements for development projects across the governorate's wilayats, with a total cost exceeding RO 4.3 million.
The agreements were signed on behalf of the governorate by Sheikh Ahmed bin Musallam Jaddad Al Kathiri, Governor of Al Wusta, and by representatives of the companies that were awarded the projects.
The tenders included a number of priority projects in the wilayats of the governorate, such as the organization and development of the first phase of the residential plan in Haima, the development and beautification of the Al Ajaiz village waterfront in Haima, and the establishment of parks in both Al Ajaiz and Abu Mudhabi villages. Other projects in Haima include the creation of a plant nursery and the supply of street lighting poles.
The agreements also covered the construction of a central market in Mahout, the establishment of the first phase of Wadi Al Sail Park in Mahout, and the construction of a camel racing track platform and course in the wilayats of Mahout and Al Jazir. Additionally, a park will be built in the northern and southern Al Ghubrah areas. The agreements also include the maintenance of several buildings belonging to the wilayats and the Al Wusta Municipality, as well as an agreement for technical and administrative support services in the governorate.
