Electricity Development Projects Worth RO 22 Million Implemented in Al Wusta Governorate
Haima, 16 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- Nama Electricity Distribution has announced the implementation of projects to develop and rehabilitate distribution networks in Al Wusta Governorate with investments exceeding RO 22 million.

Nama Electricity Distribution Company has signed contracts for the project to rehabilitate and develop the electrical network in the Wilayat of Al Jazir in Al Wusta Governorate, by awarding seven contracts worth RO 5 million to rehabilitate and develop electricity distribution networks in the wilaya.
The signing ceremony was held under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed Musallam Al Kathiri, Governor of Al Wusta. It was attended by the Walis, members of the Municipal Council, and representatives from relevant government entities.
Major accompanying projects for connection to the main network are currently being implemented with investments amounting to RO 17 million. These are currently underway and are expected to be completed in 2027.
These projects aim to enhance the integration of local networks with the general electricity system, and improve operational flexibility and supply stability in various wilayats of Al Wusta Governorate.
