Municipal Council Members in A’Dhahirah Governorate Elect Deputy Chairman

Ibri, Jan 2 (ONA) —- The Municipal Council in A’Dhahirah Governorate today held its first meeting since the start of Municipal Councils Third Term. The meeting was headed by Najeeb Ali Al Rowas, Governor of A’Dhahirah, Chairman of the Council.

The members of the Municipal Council took the oath of office before the council’s Chairman. They also elected a Deputy Chairman during an electronic voting process in which the new “Tanmia” app was used. The position went to Hamdan Nasser Al Yahya’ee, who won the majority of votes.

The meeting also saw the formation of standing committees, which were the Legal Committee, the Social Affairs Committee, the Health and Environment Committee and the Governorate’s Development Committee.
