Higher Education Institutions’ Introductory Forum Opens in A’Dhahirah

Ibri, 2 Nov (ONA) --- The 4th introductory forum of higher education institutions kicked off today in the Governorate of A’Dhahirah, with the participation of 16 academic institutions from government and private higher education institutions.

The forum targets students who will sit for the General Education Diploma (GED), parents and other members of the community.

Held at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Ibri, the forum gives a briefing about the specializations offered by higher education institutions.

The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Najib Ali Al Rowas, Governor of A'Dhahira.

The forum is organized by the Directorate General of Education in A’Dhahirah Governorate. Its programme includes training programmes, training workshops and working papers aimed to advise the target students about available technical and professional disciplines, thus preparing them to chart out their course of higher education study.
