Cooperation Memorandum Inked to Support Local Content in A’Dhahirah Governorate
Ibri, 31 Dec 2025 (ONA) --- A’Dhahirah International Development and Investment Company signed a cooperation memorandum with Daleel Petroleum Company, as part of supporting the local content framework and enhancing private sector partnership, which contributes to achieving sustainable economic development in A’Dhahirah Governorate.
This memorandum comes within the efforts exerted by private sector institutions to enhance community partnership with companies operating in A’Dhahirah Governorate and to strengthen aspects of social investment.
The memorandum was signed by Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Balushi, Chief Operations Officer of A’Dhahirah International Investment Company, and Al Waleed Khalid Al Ma'awali, Senior Supply and Procurement Manager at Daleel Petroleum Company.
The memorandum aims to solidify cooperation areas in works and services supporting the oil sector within A’Dhahirah Governorate, with A’Dhahirah Company acting as a local contractor to execute certain works upon agreement through contracts or implementation annexes.
Overall, the agreement encompasses strengthening cooperation in works and services supporting the oil sector within A’Dhahirah Governorate. A’Dhahirah Company undertakes the role of partner and local coordinator, in addition to its role as a potential contractor for executing certain works.
The agreement also represents an enhancement of the participation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the local community of the governorate and their qualification to contribute to related works.
The memorandum supports the initiatives of Daleel Petroleum Company, aligning with the approaches of A’Dhahirah Company, and enhances mutual cooperation between the two parties in the fields of communications and local logistical support.
It also includes identifying areas of work and services that can be sourced locally within A’Dhahirah Governorate, in addition to local coordination and attracting qualified SMEs to participate in related works and services.
