South A’Sharqiyah Municipal Council Discusses Service, Development Topics

Sur, 16 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- The Municipal Council in South A’Sharqiyah Governorate discussed, during its meeting today, the latest updates on service and planning topics, as part of following up the progress of municipal work and improving the level of services provided in the governorate.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Yahya Badr Al Maawali, Governor of South A’Sharqiyah and Chairman of the Municipal Council.

The meeting also touched on efforts of the Ministry of Labour to employ the national workforce in the private sector within the governorate.

The council also discussed proposals regarding the development of tourist sites in the Wilayat of Masirah, as well as a number of committee minutes and responses received from relevant authorities.
