Jusoor Foundation Signs Agreements Worth RO 3.26 Million
Sohar, 11 May (ONA) --- Jusoor Foundation today inked several agreements of social responsibility projects to the tune of RO 3.26 million. This coincides with the foundation marking its 10th anniversary since inception.
The signing ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, at the presence of Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA).
The first project, funded by OQ, Sohar Aluminum and Vale Oman, entails the establishment of a dialysis unit at Sohar Health Complex to the tune of RO 1 million and on an area of 2,138 square meters.
The second agreement is on setting up the project of Al Suwaiq Park (RO 1 million) on an area of 45,000 square meters.
Moreover, the third project is for Liwa Fish and Vegetables Market (RO 1 million) on an area of 4,303 square meters.
The fourth project is on establishing an investment building for Al Suwaiq Club (RO 200,000) on an area of 1,092 square meters.
The fifth project worth RO 60,000 is for Jusoor Foundation’s programme to sharpen the skills of youth in the field of 3D designing and animation.
Meanwhile, Jusoor Foundation also inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) at Shunas. The MoU deals with enhancing cooperation between the two sides in various fields.
The ceremony was attended by some members of the Royal family, undersecretaries and partners of Jusoor Foundation from the public and private sectors.
