CEPA Symposium in North Al Batinah Highlights Role of Accreditation in Boosting Confidence in Services, Products

Sohar, 23 Dec 2025 (ONA) --- The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion today organized a symposium in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate, to highlight the role of accreditation in enhancing confidence in services and products and supporting public policies. The symposium also aimed to explain the impact of high-quality services and products in empowering institutions and raising performance in accordance with approved standards.

The symposium was held under the auspices of Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, and saw the participation of specialists in the fields of accreditation.

The symposium focused on the extent to which confidence in services and products and public policies empowers establishments and raises their performance in accordance with approved standards.

The symposium also included a presentation on the impact of national accreditation in supporting public policies and enhancing confidence. This was followed by a review of success stories cited by CEPA parties specialized in accreditation.
