More Than 813 Tons of Cargo Handled at Shinas Port by End of 2025

Shinas, 4 January 2025 (ONA) --- Shinas Port in North Al Batinah Governorate saw outstanding performance during 2025. The port registered considerable growth in terms of cargo traffic and handling. This reflects its growing role in promoting regional and international trade.

Khater Ali Al Maamari, Executive Director of Shinas Port, said that the total volume of goods handled at the port stood at 813,155 tons: about 798,785 tons of them were imports and 14,369 tons were exports.

Al Maamari pointed out that the port is located in a key geographical location that enables it to optimize its efforts in activating trade traffic.

He added that Shinas Port received various types of imports, including 25,899 tons of building and construction materials, 922.48 tons of food, in addition to 3,330 tons of general cargo and 13,550 heads of livestock and camels.

Speaking in detail, Al Maamari said that the 14,369 tons of exports handled at the port included 103 tons of foodstuffs, 316 tons of building materials and 7,247 tons of general goods, in addition to 61,634 heads of livestock and camels.
