South Al Batinah Municipal Council Reviews Service Development Topics

A’Rustaq, 29 Apr (ONA) —— The Municipal Council of South Al Batinah Governorate held a meeting today to discuss a number of service and development-related topics in the governorate.

The council reviewed the minutes of the Governorate’s Development Committee meeting, as well as the implementation status of the "Rimal Park" project. It also discussed the minutes of the Legal Affairs Committee meeting and several circulars and responses concerning the regulation of public facilities and services in the governorate.

During the meeting, the council hosted several directors of service departments, who presented a visual display on projects and public parks in the governorate’s wilayats to address topics related to municipal services.

The council also examined the current condition of Al Musanaa Fort and reviewed South Al Batinah Municipality’s response regarding a request to construct a road for the Wadi Al Asami subdivision, as well as a road request for residential lands in the Al Hajir subdivision in the Wilayat of Al Awabi. Additionally, discussions covered the rehabilitation of Al Hazm–Jama Road and maintenance of the mountainous road "Yasab–Karb" in A’Rustaq.

The meeting further addressed a request from residents of Hibra village in Wadi Al Maawil regarding the construction of rainwater drainage systems in several locations.

The meeting was chaired by Eng. Masoud Said Al Hashmi, Governor of South Al Batinah and Chairman of the Municipal Council in the Governorate.
