Minister of Economy Participates in Inauguration of Mauritanian President

Nouakchott, 1 Aug (ONA) --- Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, took part in a ceremony held in Nouakchott today for theinauguration of Mohamed Ould Cheikh Mohammed Al-Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, for a second presidential term.

The minister conveyed the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Mauritanian President on the occasion of his re-election, along with His Majesty the Sultan’s sincere wishes.

He also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes of further progress to the people of Mauritania.

For his part, President Al-Ghazouani asked the Minister of Economy to convey his greetings and deep appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan. He also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

The minister was accompanied during the inauguration ceremony by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy,Undersecretaryof theForeign MinistryforPolitical Affairs, and Nasser Musallam Al Alawi, Acting Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Nouakchott.
