Minister of Interior Meets with Governors

Muscat, 14 Nov (ONA) --- Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior today chaired the second meeting of 2024 with the Governors.

The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including a proposal to develop municipal councils by organizing several programmes and seminars in the upcoming period, in addition to developing work in the governorates in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).

The Minister of Interior underscored the importance of continuing coordination between the governorates and the authorities concerned in everything that serves the development plan projects and their implementation efforts, as well as ensuring the enhancement of communication with citizens and the activation of community partnership.
