GCC Course on Media Monitoring, Analysis Techniques Kicks Off in Muscat

Muscat, 9 Feb (ONA) --- Acting in cooperation with the Ministry of Information, the GCC Radio and Television Corporation is organizing, in Muscat, a 5-day course titled "Media Monitoring and Analysis Techniques and Methods”.

The course, which kicked off today, seeks to provide skill-based empowerment for participants in using advanced monitoring and analysis platforms with the prime objective of improving the environment of media action and institutional decision-making. It targets information personnel operating in the fields of public relations, media and journalism.

The course highlights the importance of digital media, its types and its role in building digital identity of websites. It offers deep insights into monitoring techniques and tools, editing digital content, managing digital websites and measuring and developing content performance, in addition to practical applications.

More than 300 participants are participating in the course through in-person attendance and video conferencing.
