National University of Science, Technology Receives Institutional Accreditation Certificate

Muscat, 12 May (ONA) --- The National University of Science and Technology today received its institutional accreditation certificate from Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education.

Earlier, the University applied for institutional accreditation and, accordingly, the Authority formed an external review team that interviewed more than 362 individuals, including representatives of governance bodies, university staff, students and some external stakeholders. The team also reviewed a range of additional supporting evidence and materials.

The Authority then granted the university its standard accreditation, enabling it to join the ranks of higher education institutions that have received accreditation from Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education.
