Academic Council of UTAS Holds Meeting
Salalah, 15 Jul (ONA) --- The Academic Council of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) convened its seventh meeting for the 2024/2025 academic year today at the university's Salalah branch.
The council discussed several academic and technical matters, including the approval of the results for 2,500 spring graduates for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The council also reviewed the executive status of the university's inclusion in the QS World University Rankings project, in addition to discussing regulations and requirements related to academic staff positions within the university.
Chaired by Dr. Said Hamad Al Rubai'e, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences,Chairman of UATAS Academic Board, the meeting also reviewed updates on the General Foundation Program, specifically its implementation timeline and the approval of its documentation for the 2025/2026 academic year.
