Medical City for Military and Security Services Concludes International Conference
Muscat, 20 Jan 2026 (ONA) --- The Medical City for Military and Security Services today concluded the International Conference on Technology and Innovation in the Health Sector, which brought together an elite group of experts, specialists, and health leaders from within and outside the Sultanate of Oman.
The conference included a series of discussion sessions and specialized workshops, in addition to an exhibition of modern health technologies showcasing the latest digital and operational solutions that are reshaping the future of healthcare and hospitals. It saw participation from global technology companies, academic institutions, researchers, health leaders, and medical and administrative personnel.

The conference concluded with a number of important recommendations for developing the health sector, including: strengthening the infrastructure and health services to ensure comprehensive and effective care; empowering medical and administrative personnel by training them in the use of modern technologies; utilizing advanced technical equipment and devices in diagnosis and treatment; improving the quality of health services through the adoption of quality standards and performance indicators and enhancing partnerships between the public and private sectors and academic institutions to support innovation and knowledge transfer.
