Muscat, 19 Jan (ONA) --- Oman Data Park organized a workshop today to highlight the readiness of Oman’s infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The workshop reviewed the ministries’ AI roadmaps, cybersecurity solutions and the framework of planning AI projects.

The event, which saw the participation of 30 government units, discussed the technical support provided by Nebula AI through Oman Data Park, which is powered by Nvidia and hosted in Oman, among other topics.

Eng. Maqbool Al Wahaibi, CEO of Oman Data Park said that the workshop contributes to achieving the goals of the Sultanate of Oman’s National Programme for Artificial Intelligence. The national programme aims to enhance the productivity of targeted sectors for economic diversification and to develop human resources in the AI field, among other goals.
