Sohar, 15 Feb (ONA) --- The Capital Market Authority (CMA) today held a familiarization seminar at Sohar Free Zone about the capital market and the financing options it offers towards the consolidation of investment activities.

The seminar, organized in cooperation with the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ), targeted heads of boards and executive administrations at Sohar Free Zone. It was an opportunity to exchange views between capital market firms and companies operating at economic zones and free zones in the Sultanate of Oman.

Emphasis was laid on the importance of the capital market sector to ensure the sustainability of corporate performance and long-term funding.
