Partnership and Development Forum Highlights Opportunities of Boosting ICV, CSR

Muscat, 31 Jan (ONA) --- The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) organised today the Partnership and Development Forum, which reviewed opportunities of boosting In-Country Value (ICV), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in economic and free zones.

The forum covered several working papers on enhancing ICV and supporting SMEs through a range of various sustainable initiatives and projects. OPAZ also highlighted various initiatives and endeavors in these aspects that support the policies of OPAZ towards promoting CSR and supporting local companies and startups in their various economic, social and other activities.

Moreover, the participants discussed ways of improving social investments while seeking innovative business opportunities for SMEs operating in the zones. This reflected the Forum’s objective of exchanging expertise, enhancing cooperation and benefiting from previous experiences in developing business plans for partnership and community development activities in 2023.
