NCSI Implements Consumer Confidence Survey
Muscat, 1 Mar (ONA) --- The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) today began implementing the 37th session of the Consumer Confidence Survey for the first quarter of 2023.
The survey aims at measuring the development of the financial condition of Omani families and the factors that affect negatively or positively the level of the Omani economy. The survey will continue until the 16th of March 2023.
The survey also aims to identify the future prospects of the Omani economy, the economic situation of households at the present time and their purchasing power of various durable goods, as well as the availability of job opportunities at the present time and their future prospects.
The survey targets citizens aged 18 years and over. The target sample size is at least 1,500 Omani citizens residing in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. The representation of males and females in relation to society, age groups and different educational levels has been taken into account.
