Oman LNG Signs Sales and Purchase Agreement with BOTAS Petroleum ofTürkiye
Ankara, 19 Apr (ONA) —— Oman LNG announced the signing of a Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation.
The agreement encapsulates the offtake of 1 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) of LNG from Oman LNG for 10 years starting from 2025.
Such step aims to leverage the partnership between Oman LNG and BOTAS while leveraging the Sultanate of Oman’s reputation as a reliable and trusted LNG supplier.
Commenting on this agreement, Hamed Mohammed Al Nu’amani, CEO of Oman LNG- said: "The Sales and Purchase Agreement with BOTAS enhance our access to a new market through the offtake of 1 Million tones of LNG per annum from Oman. Additionally, it strengthen our portfolio through Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) contracts to strategic partner located in Eurasia being a growing market”.
