MSX Drops 21 Points

Muscat, 6 Nov (ONA) --- Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today's trading session at 5,544.30 points, registering a drop of 21.6 points, equivalent to 0.39 percent, from its previous close of 5,565.87 points.

Trading activity witnessed a decline, with total market turnover reaching RO 30,642,459, representing a decrease of 19.3 percent compared to the previous session's RO 25,692,878.

According to the official market report released by MSX, overall market capitalization decreased by 0.061 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately RO 31.33 billion.

Non-Omani investor purchases totaled RO 3,333,000, accounting for 10.88 percent of total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 989,000, representing 3.23 percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net decrease in foreign investment of RO 2,343,000, equivalent to a 7.65 percent decline in foreign net investment activity.
