Oman Rejects Israeli Statements on Displacement of Palestinians From Gaza Strip
Muscat, 4 Jan (ONA) --- The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its strong rejection of statements made by Israeli government officials who called for the displacement of the Palestinian population from the Gaza Strip.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today reaffirmed Oman’s steadfast position considering the Gaza Strip an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territories as stipulated in United Nations (UN) resolutions that mandate Israel’s withdrawal from all Palestinian lands it occupied, as well as the restoration of the 1967 borders in a manner that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, on all Palestinian lands, with Al Quds Al Sharqiya (East Jerusalem) as its capital.
