Oman’s Ambassador to Germany Presents Credentials as Non-resident Ambassador to Norway

Oslo, 18 Jan (ONA) --- Maitha Saif Al Mahrouqi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Germany, today presented her credentials in Oslo to King Harald V of Norway as the Non-resident ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Norway.

The Ambassador conveyed to the King of Norway the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, along with His Majesty the Sultan’s wishes of good health and happiness to the Norwegian monarch. She also conveyed His Majesty the Sultan’s wishes of progress and prosperity to the government and people of Norway.

The Ambassador expressed the keenness of His Majesty’s government to consolidate relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Norway and open up vistas for further cooperation in all fields to serve the common interests of the two countries.

King Harald V asked the Ambassador to convey his sincere greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing him continued good health. Ends/Bishara/AH
